When we checked in, the room unfortunately wasn’t fully cleaned. There were expired items in the fridge, and our dog found nuts on the floor. Since the hotel was fully booked, we couldn’t move rooms. Staff did send someone to tidy up while we were at dinner, which we appreciated, but the expired items were still there when we returned. The location was perfect, though, and the staff was responsive. The room just needed a more thorough check before our arrival.

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Tamarack Lodge. The location was nice and peaceful, right next to the lake. Room was lovely and clean. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. Helpful and friendly staff."
