Outer Boroughs Pet-friendly Vacations

It was okay, an extra 50 to park on the sidewalk in front….

The room was great. Bed was comfortable, great pillows and clean good quality linen. Just a tiny issue with the maintenance of the floor tiling in the shower. The location was perfect for me in terms of getting about. Hotel is close to the A train subway line....which takes you to the trains at JFK. I would book again.

Over all a good experience and would stay there again. A few little things, the room was dark, made it difficult to read or put make up on. The toilet stall was small and made it difficult to stand up (I have bad knees). A cleaning girl threw away my grandson’s souvenir cup from the Statue of Liberty which made him sad. Room was nice size and loved having the balcony.

Just got back from a weekend “staycation” here. We chose this hotel to be in a different neighborhood after our city hall wedding . Location is great - walking distance to anything you would want to do. We got to the hotel at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready until about 4. We did receive drink tickets from the manager for the inconvenience but it was kind of a shaky start . The room is tiny but the balcony is really nice to have and the view was very perfect. We were on the 6th floor. We did not feel comfortable walking around the room barefoot - it did not feel clean the entire weekend . I let the hotel know we just got married right before check in via messaging - I received a message back that we could pay extra for any possible extra amenities for our room but never received a list of those amenities to my email I provided to them and got kind of a half apology about not sending that out maybe 24 hrs after I initially reached out ( we only booked 2 nights). Honestly a note would have been nice acknowledging our marriage as that’s all really expected as a keepsake - but that’s ok . The evening before we left the ac stopped working . It would give us an error screen and just shut off . I did not call reception about it bc it was late and didn’t want to deal with someone coming in the room . I let them know at check out and was satisfied with the apology and response . I think it could be a great stay but there were so many caveats I am uncertain about returning.
