In every area, our stay exceeded our expectations. Definitely get the romantic dinner for two: most exquisite meal we've ever had. Each course was phenomenal. Spa facilities were world class with fantastic view of Alps. Skip the outdoor pool; it was freezing cold. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. After working 20 years in surgery, I have very high standards for cleanliness: A here. Highly recommend.

Extremely friendly bell staff and very quick service for baggage collection. The staff in the lobby/bar area were very friendly. The room was spacious and had tall ceilings, it felt grand but updated. Far away from the chaos of the center of the city but easy enough to walk to it.

The most important part was the location of the hotel, central to Wien downtown. It is also very quiet given its location. It is very good that the tourists wishing to have Sachertorte are in outside rooms and not in the central part of the hotel.
I would say one small negative thing. Newspapers should be given out to hotel guests instead of having them to share one in the hotel lobby

The hotel is beautiful and, being high on a hill, has fabulous views from many rooms and patios. The staff knew our names and room number and someone met us at the door with our room key each time we returned to the hotel. The check-in process was the best we ever had - we were shown to a lovely terrace where we sat and enjoyed a free welcome drink until they returned our passports and had us sign that our info was correct. The room was just about the nicest of any we've ever stayed in. There was fresh fruit, a small cake and bottled water which were all replaced daily. The location on the hill made the drive to and from the town is a little hard but there is an elevator about 500 m walkîng dlstance from the hotel that deliveres you into the town. Highly recommend!
