Surf Coast Ski Vacations

We stayed twice last week. Once for three nights then again later in the week for two. So we had two check ins and out, and two different rooms. Both excellent, clean, comfortable studio rooms. Very quiet given the location. Reception staff are fabulous and very professional. Great location for transport, restaurants, etc., but plenty of places have that. My vote goes to extremely helpful staff and thoughtful comfort in the rooms. We will be back

This is purely a review of the reservations team, not the hotel itself or the amenities, etc. - I had to cancel my reservation last minute due to a family emergency. I had a non-refundable rate and did not expect a refund. However, after a request through Expedia the onsite hotel manager initially offered a refund minus one night's fee. Very generous - I thought wow! Then they reneged and the headache of incompetence began with their back office. Thankfully Expedia made things right and completed a full refund as I travel constantly. I would NOT recommend this hotel solely based on the management, which is the only time I've ever said that. The reservations office is incompetent and lacks a clear chain of command. I travel nonstop all over the world - never experienced this type of rookie service. Never left a review like this either. AVOID if you are a business traveler.

Ideally located for us as we were working at the MCEC, plus points are location, roomy apartment, full kitchen and washing machine with a seperate dryer. Unfavourable points are it is on the first floor, right opposite a busy railway line and tram stop, so a bit noisy, but it is in the city, so maybe you expect that. The rooms are big and light with great pillows and bedding, presentation is great, but neither room is incredibly private, one has bi fold doors with clear glass in them and ill fitting blinds to aid privacy whereas the other room has a big hole into the living area, again with an ill fitting blind, but sound from the sitting/dining area is in this room also as this hole in the wall is straight into the bedroom…. Strange setup. The biggest challenge for us though, was the sound of the plant room, probably for the lifts, which runs 24/7 and at night it is loud! I am pretty sure this apartment sits over the plant room as you can hear the pumps/motors running and stopping and to be fair, it kept us awake! In summary, great place to stay as a bunch of girls or couple of guys (mates) short term, but if it was 2 couples it would be challenging and you need some good ear plugs!

The ammenties are nice here, facilities, easy parking always available, and you leave feeling like yob ehad a value for money experience every time. But what sets Nesuto apart.from others, for me .is the staff and how accommodating, professional, available , any issues get solved so quickly that you hardly notice them and just move on. Always go above and beyond standard expectations. And if like to take this opportunity to say thskyiuysmd that it's nice to know one place still remembers what true hospitality really is
