Weekend getaways in New Hampshire

My stay at the inn was very pleasant. The only thing I struggled with which wasn't a big deal is the fireplace in the room, even on the lowest temp, makes the room very hot. I ended up just turning it off completely. I'm sure in the winter months this will be delightful. The fireplace looks nice and the room in cozy. It's just I found the heat pumping out of it very hot, even when turned all the way down. No biggy. I would definitely come back. Beautiful inn. The beds are very cozy.

Place was great I’ll definitely go back

We truly enjoyed our stay! Great location and lots to do in this area.

One of the nicest hotel rooms ever. Larger room than most. Great decor. Quality furniture and cabinets. Wood trim and doors properly painted - not rolled on for quick job. Two glasses in the bathroom for guests. Dimmer switch in bath that allowed to use as nightlight. Thermostat controlled AC - NOT through the wall noisy hotel unit. Large shower. Clean new construction- but solid quality build! So wonderful and appreciated!

Everybody there was very pleasant. The entire building is immaculate. Wonderful peaceful setting on the Connecticut River.

Clean modern room, decent breakfast.

Very clean, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect room with an amazing work area!!!. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Thank you

Excellent. Seems like they finally paid attention to the small details. Night light in bathroom, shower stall instead of tub, bar in shower to help shave your legs, blackout shade instead of curtains. Hot tea and coffee bar 24*7. Pet friendly, even accommodated us with a first floor room so it would be easier to walk out dogs. Begin to end great stay.

The rooms are excellent. You can save a lot by parking at the Foundry Place garage, two blocks away.

We called to check in early and they were super accommodating- we got there and the staff were all really kinds and friendly. It was the little things that made this place awesome. They had a free movie at 7pm with seating and a projector. They also had a cereal station out so guests could enjoy a late night snack with the movie! Another HUGE bonus was the vending machine. This hotel has affordable kid friendly snacks in their vending machine! That’s never happened for us! I mean a yogurt...

Good choice in charming college town. Right in the middle of things, easy walk to the center of Dartmouth campus, lots of restaurants, shops and more.

great place to stay. Close to they shops and restaurants a walk to it all. Went with my service dog and they were very welcoming.

This property was newly renovated and was in great condition. The staff took us in early and was very nice. We had the pool as well as a short walk to the lake. Very happy with our overall experience.

Very comfortable stay for me and my dogs for 5 nights. Excellent breakfast options, very friendly staff, everything you really need for any kind of extended stay. I would stay again if in the area. It felt very easy and convenient, safe and quiet.

The staff was very friendly and the room was fantastic! Will definitely book there again

Nice location, clean rooms.

Beautiful historic hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are spacious, clean, and new. We had a full kitchen suite and a very large bathroom. The setup is atypical in that there is no staff onsite. This really is not a problem so long as you know not to expect a traditional hotel staff. My only complaint is that the technology used for checking in remotely is not good. I had to attempt checking multiple times and the way check in information is communicated is not streamlined. This is a minor...

The Surf House is very clean and tidy. Pool was great, mattresses were amazing and checking in was a breeze. They were able to accommodate a couple of last minute requests without issue. The staff, especially Hannah, were wonderful.
