Beautiful two bedrooms apartment, with all you might need to cook and dine in. The view of the Santa Marta Bay is nothing but amazing. The staff is very friendly. I'll be back!

Such an incredible experience that you can't get anywhere else near Santa Marta! Absolutely recommend the scenic boat ride to the property and indulge in the delicious food at Tewimake's restaurant Zamu. The staff from the restaurant to the entire facility went above and beyond to make this an exceptional stay. Highly recommend!!

Very friendly, very helpful. When our driver couldn't make it to the Casa to take us to Santa Marta airport for our flight to Bogota, Marisela took us both in our car and drove the hour and 15 minutes to drop us off at the airport. Even though we don't speak much Spanish at all, her entire staff took the effort to communicate with us in English throughout our stay. The location is fantastic and you have the choice of tenting on the beach to common dorm type accomodation to a couple of rooms...

We used the tour service located in the lobby. We were told it included transportation to boat and then back to hotel. We we're abondoned when boat returned and had to find transportation back to hotel on our own. Don't use tour service!!

Two friends and I stayed here before the Lost City trek. The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely rooftop deck serving delicious meals, is very well located and the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is outstanding; they were not only friendly but incredibly helpful on our return from the trek. They called the airline for us to change flights, stored our luggage, and provided extensive advice. Couldn't be happier about this hotel and would stay again!

Hotel is an oasis! Beautiful, boutique hotel. We struggled a little to communicate with the staff, but they were all incredibly friendly and the service was wonderful. The bathroom in the standard room is not separate, so you can see into the shower from the bed, regardless, comfortable, well-kept room.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Alko Cotona. The bed was suuuuper comfortable, the room immaculately clean, location is perfect (right by main drag for eating and drinking as well as only a few minutes from the beach!) — rooftop pool and restaurant/bar also great, with a view of the ocean/marina on one side and the mountains on the other. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food and service were excellent! We booked two different rooms—both were beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool and common areas could use some improvement, especially adding more lounge chairs, a better bar setup, and some shade by the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

This is the 2nd time i’ve stayed here. I got suite #10 that has a private terrace and small pool. it was incredible and absolutely romantic. Great location, great breakfast and all the staff are wonderful!

Wonderful hotel with great room. A/c works well and keeps the place nice and cold. Great restaurants. If you go, you will have a great time. My wife and I will be back.
