Amazing

I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).

Great location would stay there again.

I loved my stay here! Location is great, staff was friendly, and the lobby immediately smelled fresh and clean when we walked in. The room was small but that’s to be expected in NYC. The bed was super comfortable, and I could barely feel my partner moving around. The steamer for clothes was a lovely touch. It was also pretty quiet—even the street noise from our fourth floor room was manageable with earplugs and a white noise machine. The breakfast was also surprisingly good. Basic hotel fare but...

Great location and the staff were very friendly. There are so many things within a walkable area. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is some construction inside going on, but it was never an issue. The rooms are very quiet and you can barely hear the street noise. The rooms are smaller, but that is New York. It was a good size to relax after a long day of exploring and get ready for the day. The staff were very nice and helpful. The area was very safe. I would definitely stay again....

The only problem I had was the staff complained when I brought Dunkin Donuts coffee from across the street into the lobby. I’m sorry but when I’m spending $4,000 for a trip I feel like I can get my coffee from anywhere I please They kept saying no outside food or drink

This was an amazing place to stay. EVERYONE is friendly. The room is clean. The bed is huge and comfortable. The air gets so cold. The rooftop bar has BEAUTIFUL views of the city. The location is perfect. You're so close to EVERYTHING! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. The atmosphere is so chill. My stay was nothing short of amazing. Every time I visit New York, I try to stay here. During my most recent visit, I was pleasantly welcomed by trainees at the front desk who were both friendly and professional. Elijah, in particular, stood out he was very knowledgeable and made the check-in process smooth and enjoyable.

My stay was great. The views from my room were nice. The a/c kept randomly getting loud at night. The surrounding area is dirty, crowded, and sketchy. The Duane Reade on the corner has multiple security guards through out the store. Also, just walking out the front door of the hotel you are stopped by guys trying to sell bus tickets.

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

I stayed here recently with my husband and daughters and it was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect! They had even upgraded us to a suite!! We had absolutely no complaints and will be staying here again on our next visit!

This is a well maintained property in a safe walkable part of Midtown East. I would def stay here again (I'm tri-state and travel to the city often). One note for non-tech folks, there are no room keys, it's all done on your phone through an app. I've stay at hotels where this was an option, but for this hotel it is the only option. This does allow you to set everything up before arrival (maybe after you have stayed a few times), having said that there was a staff member there to help me through...
