Last-minute hotel deals in Newport Beach

I booked this hotel strictly by the reviews. I don't ever stay in less the a 31/2 - 4 star hotel but this hotel had such good reviews I decided to give it a try. It is an old hotel but has lots of character. the staff was amazing Warren the man who helped us check in was the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever seen. It was like staying with relatives. I will definitely be back!

We enjoy our stays at Doryman's. We had the corner beachside room and it was beautiful to look out at the beach and pier. Check-in is easy, there are open, top deck patios to sit and enjoy the sunrise/sunsets. I love that each room looks different. Only drawback is that the parking is across the lot behind a business. But you can park upfront for check-in. We would definitely come back to this gem.

the place was nice but when i got there i was hit with unknown charges that needed to be done before checking in. if it wasn't for me have extra money I would've been screwed

Excellent property except the road noise in the evening due to our villa location. Will definitely return but request a different room location.

Every year I stay at this hotel for the Newport jazz festival and the minute I check in I ask for Eddie he takes up my bags and gets me ice or anything else I need he is absolutely the best staff there , I could stay elsewhere but he’s the reason I check in at the Marriott also the other staff so nice and I love the food at vista kitchen everything is delicious plus out door dinning by the fire pits and the bay view .I’ll definitely be back during summer with my whole family .If you’re in...

Amazing location. It was great to wake up to the sound of the waves. My morning routine was to go downstairs and grab a bagel, watch some surfers, grab a beach cruiser and go for a bike ride. Very safe and fun. Thank you to all the staff. You treated us like family. We will be back!

Had a great stay can’t wait to go back

This is a small motel within a couple blocks of the sand...perfect distance with 2 little kids...even had beach towels, boogie boards umbrellas and sand toys for use!!! Awesome honor system and a great down to earth friendly staff 😊Will definitely stay again when we visit Newport Beach!

Great hotel and location. My family and I loved it. They they do need to update the mattress though. The bed was not comfortable.

I have stayed at the Ayres Orange multiple times over the past few years and will keep coming back!
