Last-minute hotel deals in Amherst

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We travel to Buffalo often, family and our daughter is in college there. We have stayed in many hotels in the area but none were as charming, beautifully designed, clean, and had a staff that was available for anything you needed. The lobby is like being in someones beautifully decorated living room. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a small living room wtth a pull out sofa. The hotel and breakfast were good; the service was exceptional! They went above and beyond to help me. I needed a windshield wiper replaced and could not do it myself; the person happily came out and assisted me. This was much needed as the dreary weather would have been treacherous without properly working wipers.

We loved this hotel! 10 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle (although we could only use it one way because of the hours). The staff were all so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast variety was nice. The sausage could have been cooked a little better and we would have preferred individual yogurts over the bowl.

I was quite pleased with this property. My understanding is that the property is not a new build, but it obviously has been completely renovated. I’ve been to properties where “renovations” amounted to not much more than a slopped on coat of paint and old nasty carpet replaced with cheap vinyl flooring. That is not the case here. I would higly recommend Fairfueld Inn & Suites Buffalo Amherst. They have Very friendly staff and the hotel is very clean in general. Not to mention the breakfast was always good and they have fresh apples and cookies at the front desk.

Comfortable, spacious and clean room with a nice kitchen

Loved our stay. 8-year old used the pool twice. We enjoyed the breakfast. They allowed us to checkout one hour late. No complaints.

I have stayed at this hotel about 10 times over the past couple of years, and my experience has always been wonderful. The rooms are fresh and clean, nicely decorated , Very comfortable, and the staff has always been professional and friendly.

This is a beautiful hotel. Our king suite was so very nice. Having a top rated restaurant right there was amazing and the breakfast next morning was delicious and well stocked. I can't wait to visit again and take some other family members. My husband said he would drive the 3 hours from where we live just to stay at the hotel and dine at Russells. I loved this hotel. It's small, quiet and beautiful. The common areas are lovely for hanging out. Our room had a gas fireplace and so we were able to make it nice and cozy despite the cold. The bed was super comfy. The staff were friendly and spoke highly of the owners. The owner communicated directly with me via text. I want to go back to Buffalo, just to stay at this hotel again.

I always stay there with my kids and they love it, especially the pool

I loved the hotel and location. However, my room was $219 a night and I was charged $299, w no explanation or receipt. I was also told parking in the garage would be free and was charged $20 to park. For $300 a night, I would think parking would be included. Valet parking was only $18 a night. Had I known I'd be charged $20, I would have done that.

We had a wonderful stay at The Mansion! Loved it! The staff call themselves "Butlers" and are so nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. It is a really special place to stay!
