On a cobbled street in the sleepy town of Garachico, Hotel San Roque offers a truly unique experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of resorts, and stay in boutique comfort. The rooms are spartan but comfy. We stayed in one of the duplex rooms and the split-level layout made it feel spacious and unique. Amazing views from our room as well from the gardens. Across the road from a spectacular park and 15 minute walk to the harbour area with all its shops and cafes. We had a meal there and enjoyed some of the local wines at reasonable cost.Our only complaint is the obscene cost (18€) of the breakfast. Lots of local cafes within easy walking distance for less than 1/3 the cost. Other than that, I give top marks for the hotel and its professional helpful multilingual staff. The resort is simply amazing - the food, the staff, the service, the landscape - all work together to make the place special. The whole atmosphere was so tranquil and relaxing. This was a special stay. The Prestige rooms are also wonderful.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Julia at the front desk was kind and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and relaxing. The dinner I had there was also yummy. I only wish they could be more careful about the freshness of items served at breakfast.

This is the perfect resort to relax and rejuvenate! The staff takes excellent care of you and the property. The food is outstanding and we highly recommend selecting the half board option. It is WELL worth it. The pool is the best pool we have ever been in. Perfect distance to the beach as well … we did the pool after breakfast and the beach in the afternoon. The hotel provides beach bags with water and towels. I would stay at this property again and again!

Very elegant, friendly, and well mannered. I will definitely have to go back for a second time and only to this hotel because I felt so comfort. Not only that, but it was close to the beach and strip mall where I felt safe. Great food at the hotel and surrounding beach front resturants.

One of the finest resorts I have stayed in. Amazing restaurants, beautiful grounds, pristine rooms and helpful, friendly staff. Close to a great beach and only 10 mins walk from the main town area with a lot of bars, restaurants and other activities. Would definitely return for a second visit when I get the chance!
