Drive down a half mile driveway through the woods to reach the house. The house has many rooms set up for you to relax either alone or with others. The views overlook the river and are spectacular. Perfect place to unwind. The housekeeper was wonderfully welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Can't wait to go back!

We had a delightful stay at the Oliver House. Tom and Alice are exceptional hosts. Be sure to enjoy dinner at Tippecanoe Restaurant next door... We met two nice couples at breakfast on Saturday morning and that night, after dinner, we sat in a swing on beautiful grounds... soon, fellow guests wandered in from dinner and 6 of us sat visiting in the garden. This was a lovely hotel to stay at. I came in late because I was traveling from Omaha. The neighborhood was safe, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I haven’t made my return plans yet, but this is a strong conversation!

The staff was exceptional. Special shout out to Patsy who works the front desk and JoJo who took care of us in the restaurant. Food was also very good. We stayed during COVID because we lost power in our home and we felt very safe. They went above and beyond.
