Close to the beach ok hotel.Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: The hotel was close to the beach. You could walk right down the back stairs and be at the beach.the room was pretty and clean.pretty good food.
Cons: The housekeeping and maintenance departments could be improved.our TV didn't work and they kept telling us someone would be up to fix it but didn't.
Location: Chitin itza, speed boats at aqua world jungle tours and the catamaran boat ride to isla meisdeis(?) were all great excursions.
We had to stay at 2 different hotels. When we arrived our room had 2 double beds and didn't look anything like the picture they advertised. The lobby was really pretty and the rest of what we saw at the resort was really pretty. Even though we were under the impression the resort was more of an adult resort there were a lot of kids there. When we went to the front desk we were told the grand oasis pyramid didn't have anymore rooms with king sized bed. Jasmine at the front desk was very helpful and told us the grand oasis sens was a sister resort that did have available king sized beds and was more for adults. She showed us a picture of the room and we went to the grand oasis sens. The room was much nicer but we went from a resort that had about 14 restaurants and 12 bars to a restaurant that had about 4 or 5 places to eat and only one bar open after 10 pm.the food was pretty good. I definately recommend making reservations at the box. The drinks were all good.it was difficult getting towels for both our room and the pool. Get your towels early for the pool because the go fast and they don't seem to have extras to restock.

Pros: Great food, friendly staff, nice beach and swimming pool.
Cons: Air conditioning half working, Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. fridge door could not close completely.
Location: Great location on the hotel zone. Shows every night in the pyramid building.
A great variety of food to choose from. Different bars and night club, shows every night at 8 pm in the pyramid building. Several swimming pools and great beach.

April 2015 Cancun Family TripPosted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: The ocean view was nice. The Concierge in the Sean Kaan area was very nice, but were only told we could use this service when checking out.
Cons: Communication, no one seems to communicate with each other.
Location: On the ocean, beach, easy access to the bus to go into town or for shopping and outside restaurants.
We booked a family trip. 10 of our family members arrived 3 days before us and booked at the Oasis Cancun. Spring break was still going on despite the hotel telling us that spring break would be over before we arrived. There were fights in the hallways, drunk college students and foul language all over including the dueling DJs that were hired to enterain for spring break. Our family members stayed one night and then requested to be moved. They were moved to the Oasis Sens. When we found out that our family moved we tried to change our reservation but were told that there were no more rooms available at the Oasis Sens. They moved 10 of our family members to five rooms at the Oasis Sens, but we were told that there were no more rooms left for us. We arrived Friday at the Grand Oasis Cancun and found that spring break was still going on. The room was decent, but the TV was not working and the room was very musty. We asked for an iron 4 times and were told it would be delivered but it never was. We checked daily for a room at the Oasis Sens and were consistently told there were no rooms or they would keep checking. The next day the staff acted like they didn't know what we were talking about. Finally we were told that we could move on Sunday, but even though we were in the Grand Tower with ocean view we could not get that at the Sens. We were given lowest level at the Sens.

Nice moderate hotelPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: It was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Lots of pool space and never felt crowded.
Cons: The staff in the restaurants were awesome but the front desk and just general staff around the property were not pleasant and not very helpful.
Location: CoCo Bongos is a must do night life event. Awesome show.
Lots of restaurants and bars and the food was of good quality for the most part. Some of the bar drinks were pretty weak but with a large college kids clientele, perhaps not smart to have best drinks at the bar for drunk spring breakers! Quite a bit of upselling on the wines in many of the restaurants. Overall all had a great time and the beach was nice but a bit rough most days. The one annoying thing about this property is the omnipresent timeshare/vacation club people. You couldn't tell at first if they were just polite staff or undercover sales people. They were a real pest with a smile,

Good for 3 days maximumPosted Apr 1, 2015
It's crazy hotel. Good for few days but more than that you will start hating your self. The drinks are not good in the hotel.
