Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. "Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. "This villa is AMAZING!!! We had a group of 6 adults but EASILY could have fit 4 more. Coming from the US, this is the epitome of what we Americans envision Tuscany to be. We still can not believe how little we paid for the week, this would have easily been 3 times the amount in the US. Jannet went out of her way to help us organize a surprise birthday dinner for my husband, and I couldn't have done it without her! I would highly recommend the Villa - the location was perfect for accessing the many Tuscan villages. We were so sad to leave, but did so with wonderful and beautiful memories."

They planned an excellent birthday dinner in the courtyard, a cooking class and a fabulous lunch at the villa. All of the food was excellent. The property manager could not have done anything better. "Lorenzo, our host, was the most helpful and communicative person. We had another VRBO cancel on our group of 8 people 6 days before arriving in Florence. The villa is so so spacious with gathering rooms and dining in multiple locations. Note that a car is recommended as this is quite far from Florence. Antonella, the owner is warm, friendly and clearly very hard-working: the whole place is put together with love. "We had an amazing time at the Rivalta Hotel. My husband and I stayed in two different River View suites over a week, and both were equally amazing. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we discovered that one of our suitcase locks was broken, and they sent someone up with tools to help us get in to it. We loved the breakfast each morning and rooftop patio. Very happy with our entire visit and will absolutely be back!"
