"I’ve stayed at The Palmetto Hotel twice now, and I honestly can’t imagine booking anywhere else when I visit Charleston. The location is perfect, just steps away from great restaurants and walkable to much of downtown. Despite being in a central area, it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has a great ambiance. The bar is a nice touch and adds to the charm. Accommodations are consistently comfortable and thoughtfully maintained. Whether you’re in town for work or a weekend getaway, it hits all the marks. Highly recommend."

"This property was great for our visit to Charleston. Close enough to everything, but far enough to not feel crowded. We loved the little park across the road. It was a great spot to watch the sunset!"

"Beautiful spacious room with a balcony . Fully updated but still had an old world charm to it . The bathroom was spotless, bed was super comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome with a complimentary bottle of champagne . The only thing that needed an upgrade was their tv - it was too small for the room and no Netflix etc available. The hotel has an excellent location too, walkable to the waterfront and kings street etc"
