“This was our first stay at the Loutrel and it exceeded our expectations. The lobby and bar area are beautiful. We enjoyed a full complementary breakfast with delicious bacon and eggs. They also had a happy hour on the rooftop. Great views. Our room was quiet and so comfortable. Great location. We will be back. ”

“I can’t say enough great things about The French Quarter Inn. The best service ever! Staff took care of all our needs like sending a text daily to see how things were going. Anything that we asked they graciously provided. The lady who cleaned our room was Graciela. She was friendly and did a great job taking care of us. “An absolutely lovely hotel in all regards other than the street noise. The location, rooms, staff, design are all first rate. The street noise through the single pane windows makes it seem like you are on 2nd Avenue in NYC. They can’t change them due to the historic nature and they do try to mitigate with white noise machines, but still very noisy. So bring your ear plugs and enjoy the lovely, lovely hotel”

“Had a fantastic girls weekend in Charleston, and the hotel was key in that. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is luxurious. The restaurant was totally happening, and it had great drink options. Ee never heard the neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase a girls getaway package that included a bottle of bubbles, a charcuterie board, in room massages, and gift certificates to local businesses. ”

“We needed to stay one night at a reasonable rate in Charleston. It is very simple, but the staff and the rooms were perfect, and the breakfast amenities and fresh tea and water were much appreciated. Exceeded expectations ”

“We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great.”

“Excellent location. Old facility but updated particularly the bathroom. High end room was small. Continental breakfast small but ok. No signage to find check in/parking . Staff generally good except the valet parking attendant who did not offer to load our luggage into the car. Fire alarm forced us out onto the street one evening - false alarm I guess. Crying baby across the hall clearly heard in our room . Rate between ok and good. Would look for a better place for the price.”

“This property was absolutely beautiful and so convenient to everything we wanted to do in and around the historic district. We had a rental car, which we needed for the weekend, but the location of the hotel was walking distance to everything including fine dining. Grocery store is conveniently across the street. Loved the free parking, loved our stay!”
