“A beautiful spot of quiet right in the midst of everything! The staff were and so very helpful! Our room is everything I hoped for and more! I had a business trip right after our anniversary trip and the Pinch has in room washer and dryers! I was able to get my laundry done quickly and efficiently in my own time! Our room had a small little terrace that we were able to enjoy our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening! When we go back to Charleston the Pinch will be the first……

“Such a great boutique hotel with Charleston history and charm. Easy walk to King Street for shopping and lots of great restaurants and bars. Loved the happy hour and included breakfast — visited with other guests at both. Todd took care of our bags and parking our car and Louisa at reception gave us lots of restaurant and bar recommendations. Want to stay longer and come back!”

“We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I……

“From the front desks, concierge, valet, restaurants employess...everyone was amazing. We booked a 1br and were instantly upgraded to a 2bd, which was perfect for a spa weekend w/my bestie. Plush robes and cozy beds were amazing. The restaurant had great food and service. The hotel was so nice, we rarely left...i would definitely stay here again and again. I wish i could remember everyones name, because its was definitely 5star service across the board”

And a private balcony with which to view the city life belowAND lounging in the pool too after a loooong day of walking the streets- heaven. I loved the restaurant selections also. ”

“The Dewberry is ideally located to explore Charleston. It’s walking distance to most places within town and close to some great restaurants, bars and museums. The rooftop bar and the ground floor bar at the Dewberry are top notch. The Ordinary and Prohibition are two great restaurants close to the hotel. The staff were great and hospitality was top notch. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely look to book the hotel again the next time I am in Charleston. ”
