“Our stay at The Loutrel was amazing. They take excellent care of their guests. Breakfast was delicious every morning, as were the cocktails, the nightly one-bite desserts, and the mezzanine level that was stocked with snacks! “We booked two carriage house rooms for a long weekend and it was amazing. Let's start with the location. White Point Garden is directly across the street. It is an easy walk to the Battery. About a mile to Pineapple Fountain, etc. There is plenty of street parking (permit provided on check in) so you could park and walk almost anywhere. Or catch the free Dash bus nearby. Rooms 1-3 were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast can be served in the small dining area or delivered to your room. The……

“The hotel has a cool design and a great rooftop terrace. The location is excellent, very close to the water and within walking distance of the old town. However, many rooms have a musty smell, which significantly affects the overall experience. The breakfast is disappointing: just two small croissants, some jam, a banana, and an apple. “Liked the Charleston vibe but when it came to the noise and lack of a peaceful few days we were very disappointed. Had to move 2 times due to the floors having no noise barrier and the doors slamming at all hours and hearing through the walls was a shame. This was a difficult few days. No apologies from management and seems like they have these issues consistently. Would not sray again and would not recommend in the future.”
