Kinda gross

Posted Jul 28, 2015
The lady at the front desk was nice enough to us but treated the Asian tourists ahead of us in line as though they were mentally handicapped pariah. She was so rude to them that I almost walked out. The room felt grimey and the towels were dingy grey. The complimentary breakfast was held in a room so nasty we just passed and bought breakfast across the street. If I were you I'd find another place.

Passing Through

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Not much to like or dislike. It meets the need.
Cons: It needs some capital improvements. It is obvious that it is a "cash flow center" and not a serious place of business.
Location: Great Restaurants and history if this is something of your interest.
It is a place where you stay in a "in and out". The comfort level is not high. It meets the need. A place to walk in clean up get some rest and be on your way. The wi-fi is terrible. The desk agent very nice and pleasant.

Maybe nicer than some but not by much. inexpensive

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Fridge has food in it from previous occupant. Carpet was still wet from being cleaned. Coffee pot had not been cleaned. Bed was comfy. Room was next to a messy utility closet which had the door propped open all the time. I closed the door to not have to see the mess every time I went to the room but it got propped open again.

Comfortable beds

Posted Jul 12, 2015
The place is ok if you just need a bed. The room is decorated in the 1980s style still and our room had dust on the furniture but the bathroom was clean and the beds nice.

Clean and roomy

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Winnemucca is is a desert pit stop, not a destination. Our room was large, clean and very adequate. The bed was comfortable and there was a flat screen TV with cable. The wi-fi did not work and the girl at the front desk had no suggestions as to why. There was a small pool that looked well maintained.

Very outdated room. Bathroom was disgusting.

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: It was halfway between spots. That is it.
Cons: Everything!
Location: It's in Winnemucca... nothing to do.
Bathroom had black mold on the grout of shower and random pieces of hair on the tiles. Towels were very dingy. Wifi basically did not work. Kept kicking you off. Tv had very poor reception. Barely enough parking. Had to drive around for a while til a spot opened up. Didn't even attempt breakfast in the morning. Just wanted to get out of there. Only good thing was that is was a halfway spot in our travels..Would definitely not recommend.

Hotel staff threw away expensive personal belongings and was not responding appropriately as requested.

Inexpensive option that with large, clean rooms.

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Large, clean rooms.
Cons: The pool is a mess. Every step in the water and dirt plumes come up off the bottom. Corners of stairs have something slimy growing in them.
Location: Casinos of course. We went to a rodeo for the first time and watched the 4th fireworks but most other things were closed due to the holiday.
While this was the least expensive hotel we stayed at on our 3 week vacation, it beat out many of the others. Sure it is a little run down and the wifi is out of 2003, but the rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. This is a MOTEL though, and not a HOTEL. We had half of the places turn out to be motels when they were listed as hotels.

Carpet needs serious cleaning

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: The staff were pleasant and it was centrally located
Cons: A good rug shampooing and cleaner looking bed spread would help first impressions.
Location: Food and gaming close by.
The minute we walked in we noticed the dirty carpet and bed spread looked dirty. Sheets were clean but were not tucked so they rolled up at night. The towels were a grey color and needed a good bleaching.
