not bad but keep quiet!

Pros - location, great soap, coffee and tea all day, free breakfast, and clean rooms. Cons - old televisions, unsecured internet access, and the biggest complaint has to be how thin the walls are. I could hear everything inside or outside. The traffic noise on Piedmont is all night long and if you are sharing walls with a fellow guest you could probably whisper good night and they would hear you. But overall, it was a nice experience and the hotel was just fine - I would stay again.

exceptional service

I chose this hotel mainly because it has very good feedbacks about the hotel service. It does. I have a conference at another hotel which is about 2-min away. I usually just gave the driver a call and he would pick me up within about 10-15min. Very professional. The front desk personnel is very helpful too. I like it and definitely would check in again for my future trip.

Wonderful Service! Fantastic Service

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Wingate. Our room was nice and the staff was fantastic. Marquis and Monique made us feel right at home and when dinner reservations were called in, they told the resturant staff that we were special guests. So,we also received great resturant service and never had to wait long to be seated. We will be back.

I would suggest to request a room that is not facing the street. The morning traffic was a little bothersome when we slept late.

Super Service

Everyone of the staff was helpful when needed. This is one of the best places to stay for a very affordable price. Beats many of your higher dollar hotels. I want to thank the staff for making our trip a real experience.

Fabulous!

The people who work at this hotel understand what good service means. From the helpful, warm and charismatic front desk clerks especially Monique and Marquis, to the transportation and breakfast services, I personally cannot wait to stay at this hotel again. I would recommend this wholeheartedly to anyone considering staying in the Atlanta area if if you were not going to be in the Buckhead area. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

Very impressive hotel and staff

Very friendly, helpful staff, knowledgable, coutreous, and they go out of the way to be helpful. They even gave us a limo ride after we had checked out! Will definitely return.

Best Service in Atlanta

The service here is the best I’ve ever experienced. Our check-in was less then ten minutes from the time we entered the lobby to settling in our room. The free amenities made this trip downright cheap, with a free, hot breakfast - cooked to order! And a complimentary limo service within three miles. (The service shuts down at 11 p.m., so be sure to have a way back if you intend to stay out late). The hotel also offers free parking and free use of their business center! Plus there was a microwave and small fridge in our room. Other hotels are quick to charge upwards of $25 a night for parking, which just seems like those hotels are taking advantage of their clientele. The staff were fantastic - super friendly and helpful. If you’re going to Atlanta, don’t even bother with any other hotel.

Hotel- Atlanta

We came to Atlanta for a week-end baseball game wiht our 13 yr old grandson. Thanks to the staff and the comfort of our stay at the Wingate our trip was wonderful. The staff assisted us with information on directions, places to eat and were very friendly and pleasent. The continental breakfast was a feast, wonderful! We would highly recommend the Wingate by Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel.

We enjoyed having a rental car for the purpose of traveling and seeing Atlanta. We recommend this process.

Loved this hotel.

The free breakfast was wonderful. Even omlettes made to order, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, hot and cold cereal, freshly made waffles, yogurt, bagels, fruit - virtually something for everyone. The room was beautiful and clean. I especially liked that there was no wall to wall carpet. Instead, there was laminate flooring which looked like hard wood plank flooring. There was one rectangular oriental looking throw rug that was at the end of the beds. The laminate flooring is much better for someone with allergies (and with wall to wall carpeting, I always wonder when the last time it was cleaned). I would definately stay here again.

Traveler's tip

Traffic is very heavy everywhere in Atlanta. Making a left out of the hotel is almost impossible and making a right is not that easy either. Bring a GPS to make getting around Atlanta easier.

Nice People, Nice Hotel, Not so nice Bedding

The hotel staff is excellent and the hotel is in great condition. Though, the pillows on the beds are terrible; polyester fiber filled with not so much fiber. The sheets and towels are not the softest. The two days that I stayed there my face towels had brown streaks on them.

This is a great hotel if you are not wanting to drive to local attractions. The hotel has great cars to take you anywhere within a three mile radius complimentary.

Very impressed!

Our trip to Atlanta was for a Braves game and a visit to the Aquarium. We could not have ask for a better hotel and staff. The front desk clerks went out of ther way to help us with any questions we had about the area. We especially enjoyed the shuttle service to local diners and the complimentary breakfast bar was excellent! Will definitley look forward to our next visit.

Very good option in Buckhead

I stayed for five nights in the Wingate and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was wonderful, always smiling and accommodating. The hotel has a complimentary limo service, which was very useful (within three miles of the hotel); the drivers were exceptionally helpful. There is no room service or restaurant at the hotel, but there are a few places to eat within walking distance, and within a few miles there are several more (and a shopping mall). They have a small computer room (2 computers) with free internet for guests and what looked like a nice workout room on the ground floor, as well. My room was clean and included a couch, desk, microwave, and mini-fridge. I was traveling alone, so safety was a big issue for me, and I felt safe here (I did not walk around late at night, but I did walk to the nearby restaurants for dinner), and the hotel itself seemed pretty secure. All in all, this appears to be one of the more affordable options in Buckhead, and the hotel excels in customer service overall.

Great Place to stay!

My freind and I were in Atlanta on business but also some sightseeing. We were most impressed with the friendliness and overall service of the staff. They were outstanding! The hotel rooms and lobby were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent as you had your choice of omlettes or waffles made on site, bacon, fruit, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal and drinks. Will Definately stay again!

Beautiful, comfortable

Very nice hotel. Free cookies in lobby, best breakfast buffet ever (and I have tried al ot of them!) as it includes fresh cooked to order omletts and waffles, fresh cooked bacon, and hardboiled eggs and the ususal breads and pasties and cereals. Nice pool, beautiful lobby, clean and extra large room. The area this hotel is in is super expensive, you need to drive 15 min to get to middle class eating areas as most restaurants nearby are mega expensive.

Don’t bother renting a car from the airport-take the subway from the airport $2.50 to Buckhead station- call the hotel for limo pick-up. Great location if you are attending concerts at chastain park or shopping in Buckhead

Very Impressed with Atlanta Buckhead hotel

This was one of the best experiences we have had in a hotel. The staff was not only friendly and courteous, but went truly out of their way in order to help us explore their city, Atlanta. The buffet breakfast was very good, with the chef making fresh waffles and pancakes upon request. The hotel offered a car and driver for anywhere within 3 miles from the hotel, and drove and picked us up from the train. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Take the MARTA train system to most locations. You can get a deal on a ticket if you use the train for a few days. It goes many places and is safe and clean

Buckhead Best Kept Secret

We travel frequently to this area to see our family. I read the reviews before booking and decided to give this hotel a try. We were there for 4 nights and it was a great experience. The staff is super friendly and courteous. They are very knowledgable of the area and helpful. The breakfast is about as good as you can get in a continental-type breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean. We will definitely be coming back! Parking is free too in a well-lit lot!

The employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with directions. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It was a great location for Buckhead shopping!

Lovely property/Great value

I lived in Atlanta for many years and we go back every year for a family Christmas party. This property is in a great location in Buckhead, close to restaurants, shopping centers, express way,etc. The hotel isdecorated very attractively and the staff were terrific. The breakfast was good and included protein--hate those sugary breakfasts.

2nd Stay great as the 1st

We stayed at the Wingate Buckhead for the second time around while in town for a sports event. The staff is extremely helpful and always courteous. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated. We would definitely stay there again whenever we are in Atlanta.
