Nice Stayover Hotel

Close to the freeway (as quite a few hotels are). Hotel was clean and looked good. Room was stuffy at first and we really couldn’t open the windows due to the freeway rushing by outside. Ran the A/C and everything turned out fine. Denny’s provides room service, you can walk to it if what you want from Denny’s isn’t on the room service menu. Overall my stay was pleasant.

Hotel?? More like Motel

This hotel was a total disappointment. It looks and feels more like a Motel than a Hotel. The doors to the rooms are outdoors like a Motel 6. The bathroom door would not close the whole way, the toilet seat was broken and the hot water was not working the next day. Not to mention the pool was dirty.

If more expensive rooms are available for the same rate, book those! They look and are named exactly the same but the more expensive rooms on sale are actually the only tower that has indoor rooms.

Decent Hotel, Good Location, Neat

As a first visit to LA, I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It conviniently located, rooms are well equiped and kept clean. Overall nice hotel for the reasonable weekend price.

My trip combined business and family visit. We got two close rooms with a dividing door. There are two types : main three or four store building and drive-in , motel style building. For families with kids recommended to stay in a first type. Also if you need a baby crib - would recommend to call to hotel in advance and verify that they’ll provide it, even if you mentioned it when reserving through Internet.

Hotel it’s ok, don’t expect too much

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and for the purpose of our trip it was ok. No very comfortable but it was clean. A little noisy too. The staff was friendly and they give you complimentary internet service.

Great location in Sherman Oaks!

Had a great stay here-rooms look better in person than in pictures! Really close to freeways-101 and 405, easy access! Not a lot to do in Sherman Oaks but there were plenty of nearby dining and shopping options.

There’s a Denny’s in the parking lot. You can go down to eat or order room service (minimum order-only 5.00) and have it delivered!

Exactly what I needed.

Nothing fancy. Clean, comfortable and perfect base-of-operations for my biz trip. Wireless internet service + free parking makes this hotel a easy choice.

Nothin’ special, noisy motel next to freeway

Found a roach in my room (yuck) and room furnishing and bedding was gawdy. Tiny room was noisy from street/freeway noise and was hard to sleep Can not recommend this motel, unless you just want a cheap place to stay (you get what you pay for). Front desk man was not too friendly either.

No place to eat except Denny’s next door, so bring food (they have fridge) or eat out elsewhere.

it’s really comfortable and clean hotel, the service is also really nice! I wish that I could stay longer there... if you want to visit CA, I recommend you stay in this hotel in north LA.

I felt like I was staying at Grandma’s

The hotel room decor is kind of cheesy but what can anyone expect for the $. Hotel room was clean and the outer parts were well maintained. Pool area was busy and there is a Denny’s on property which was helpful. Bar was not open but that can be a good thing. Close to Universal and a short drive (leave early for night games)to Dodgers Stadium.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The establishment itself is older but Best Western does a nice job keeping it clean. I would recommend it for the price and area. Great stores and restaurants in the area!

if you must stay in the valley

Good motel in Sherman Oaks, right on Sepulveda only 50 yards from a Fwy exit. Good value. Denny’s on site. Parking lot can be almost full in late evenings. Not much to do in Sherman Oaks but off peak traffic hrs you can be in Westwood in 15 minutes.

Convenient Place to Stay

The beds were VERY comfortable, convenient location for us, easy freeway access. The room was clean, but parking was a bit of a problem on Saturday night since we were out late.

Good Value and Location

Have stayed at this hotel a couple times this summer. It’s comfortable, and located with easy access to major highways. Rooms are clean and staff is helpful. Bathroom tile of most recent room didn’t appear as spotless as in previous room, but it was acceptable. Self-park is a money saver when compared to mandatory valet at many other hotels.

Try to get a room located away from Sepulveda Blvd. Traffic can be heard in the morning.

If you need a place to stay because you are traveling many hours away from home and are going to visit "six flags or "universal studios hollywood, I would definitely make this hotel my number one choice!!!! I love it!!!!!!!

Liked the place very much - very spacious and clean

I would strongly recommend this hotel. We were impressed with the easy access and cleanliness of the hotel. Unfortunately we stayed there only one night as we were traveling further south. The room was spacious, pre-cooled by a very quiet and efficient A/C. Swimming pool was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

Can’t wait to go back

Great place to stay! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms come with small refrigerator and coffee maker and we requested a microwave to be able to eat some meals in the room. We ate dinner the first night at the Denny’s right on the property. HBO was an added plus. The location was great-right off the expressway but also near a wildlife preserve-you would never know you are in L.A. The room we had was not noisy at all-we were in the Tower Rooms. There was plenty of parking available. Late check-out is also available. We did not have the chance to use the pool or jacuzzi but they looked great! We will stay there on our next trip to the area.

GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY

This BW on Sepulveda is very well-maintained and in a decent neighborhood. It is also centrally located and close to many good restaurants, especially on nearby Ventura Blvd. It is also very close to Universal Studios (6-miles). The rooms were clean, and the spa and pool area’s were spotless. There is also a mediocre Denny’s on the property. A great value.

For a great Italian meal, check out Antonio’s on Ventura. Great East Coast Style Pizza, Antipasto, and Pasta dishes....reasonably priced. Three of us got out the door for $40.00.
