“A precious lady, Gail, welcomed us to her Inn. She had a full house of 12 to serve as hostess for morning breakfast which was excellent! The second morning was delicious as well. Gail’s daughter was out of town for medical testing for the week, leaving her to carry the load of which she did wonderfully. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend would be to tidy up the landscaping. It would improve the exterior of the beautiful Inn. Overall we enjoyed our stay at...

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

“We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had.”

“Wonderful property a good distance from Acadia for a weekend trip. The location was private and you truly couldn’t tell how close to the main road we were. I probably should have read the description better - we realized there was no refrigerator when we arrived and that we needed to bring our own water, but there was a large cooler and a few water bottles available until we could get more supplies. Host was great with communication and overall had a really lovely stay.”

“We had another great stay at Rachel's beautiful home. This time we stayed longer and were able to enjoy Acadia and lots of other attractions. Highlights were taking the Winter Harbor ferry to Bar Harbor for the day and exploring the rocky coast of Schoodic Point. And we may have spent too much money at Momo's Cheesecake! ”

“This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town....

“This beautiful and peaceful rental was exactly what we were hoping for and more! The place was clean and beds very comfortable but the real wow factor was the amazing picturesque view of the water! We must have taken dozens of pictures! And the well cared for flower garden and potted plants and flowers were stunning!! The host was an excellent communicator when needed as well.
