“Beautiful hotel. Very clean and check in was the easiest and friendly as could be. It’s nice knowing that a hotel isn’t waiting at the desk charging you a crazy deposit and holding money like you’re going to trash the place. I loved the honest approach to check in and I felt safe and secure. Would stay here again. ”

“Our stay in this cabin at James Ranch was fantastic! The cabin was perfect for my wife and I, and everything was just as described in the listing. Julie was a perfect host, and the check in/out process was the easiest ever. We will definitely be staying here for any future trips to the Durango area!!”

“Do not let the description fool you. It’s way worse than what the 3.4/10 rating implies. The description on the site is about 40% accurate. This is not your typical apartment rental. When they say “owner may be on premises” they actually mean, “owner lives above the apartment”. Which wasn’t the biggest issue. There is NO TV, NO Laptop work area because there is no internet. Also the cell service is spotty at best, and cut off about a half mile away from the property. So if something went……

“Booked a 3 day trip to primarily paddle board with the family for the majority of the time; therefore, wanted something close to the water. The property was great; however, the distance from the property to the water is about a half mile walk through a field which contains prairie dog holes and thistles. This doesn't sound too far; however, when you're carrying approximately 40 lbs of gear, you need to plan around being able to freely come back and forth as you would on a shoreline property. We……
