We had a little trouble with our first room (no hot water), and the staff moved us to a new room without a problem. The breakfast was fresh and offered many choices. “The staff memeber at check in was great! The room was great for our needs, two small dogs and a child. It was as we expected. The Hermosa area of the Animas Valley north of Durango CO was badly hit by wildfires this summer followed by rains that caused mudslides. Many local organic farms are located here. Out of the summer we are now in a beautiful period of fall colors. The last of the summer’s organic flowers are about to fade. Sunrise on Monday morning shows the beautiful recovery of this valley. #golden
