“I booked this room on Expedia with the travel insurance. Expedia charged my credit card $98. When I arrived at the inn, they had no electricity. I told the clerk that I booked the room with Expedia and he said that since they had no electricity, he cannot see the booking on the computer. He stated that I would have to pay another $90~ cash for the room. As I was walking away, another family asked the clerk when will the electricity return, and he said he had no idea when the power would return.……

“My husband and I had to evacuate due to Hurricane Isaias. With nearly every hotel booked, we had no choice but to stay at Days Inn in Bainbridge, GA. Unfortunately, our experience was absolutely horrible! Upon entering our room, we discovered urine and pubic hair on the toilet, dingy bed linens, and used bar soap and liquid soap left in the shower from previous guests. “Room was not clean and found trash on the floor. No soap of any kind to wash hands with or in the shower. Room had an odor and wasn’t well kept. A/C didn’t work until it was set to the highest setting on very low temp (60) and even then it took about 4 hours to start cooling down, when it was only in the upper 70s outside. Nothing special about the place and it served its purpose, but I will not be returning.”
