“Was in a good area
There were vacancies but we were put on the very top floor in a loft type conversion
Which we wernt keen on.
The door to the room was a fire door which was badly fitted to a none fire door frame which is not correct.
There was a light on the landing which through the nite kept coming on and lit up the whole bedroom because of the gaps around the illegal fire door.
We trid to cover door with a blanket to cover the light but it didnt realy work.
Next time we stay in whitby……
“Room Willow: very clean and spacious, no air conditioning, however big windows allowing a lovely breeze to come through.
Only issue we found was if you want to watch the TV you have to sit on the bed, you cannot watch it from the settee.
Nice selection for breakfast and well cooked.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful giving suggestions of what to do and where to go.
Best bed and breakfast we have stayed at for along time, definitely would go again.”
“The room was lovely and very comfortable. I had some difficulty with the stairs both in the accommodation and in the outer building because of my mobility, so I would warn others of the steepness of the stairs. Everything was very clean and well presented, plenty of continental breakfast choices, tea and coffee etc. This would only have been improved by a more practical washing up facility than the bathroom sink. Having said that though, the bathroom was spotlessly clean.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the middle of the North York Moors National Park. The room was very clean, the linen of high quality and the bed was very comfortable. All the amenities worked. The rooms are above the pub so there was some chatter and music. This wasn’t a problem for me. The breakfast was delicious.
I would stay here again.

“Had a 2 night stay with family and 2 dogs. Great house, just right size and very well stocked.
Location is perfect for visiting Whitby and Robin Hoods bay.”
“Honestly the worst property we had ever stayed in. When we arrived the property was dirty, in hoovered, dirty sides and used towels in the bathroom. There was still toothpaste in the sink from the previous occupants.
Lots of things in the house were broken and then left ie mirrors seats etc.
there was one glass between four of us.

“It was filthy. So disappointed not worth the money we paid at all . We save and work for our weekends away and this was not expectable .damaged bed carpets unsafe on stairs.”
“Easy check-in, decent size parking bay. Lovely room, soft drinks and chocolate in the fridge was a nice touch. Great shower in en-suite. Breakfast was great, the chap was polite and amusing. If I’m up that way again, I’d certainly use this place again. I would definitely recommend.”
