“Beautiful setting, plenty of parking, well equipped & comfortable rooms, good menu, local beers. We would stay here again.”

“Lovely area for a quiet time away , but not a lot in the area so if your looking to get to shops or any amenities there isn’t much about Rooms are very warm, rooms are not cleaned daily unless requested , when requested only the towels where replaced but no cleaning took place Shower not safe, partner was taking a shower and the railing came down on top of her mid shower , if was this a child or elderly could of led to serious injury. Breakfast was good, food hot and fresh but due to this a……

“The property was very clean and would suit 2/3 couples or a larger family. The only drawback is the small garden, but with such gorgeous beaches a short drive away we didn't worry too much about not being able to access outside space. We really enjoyed the close proximity to amenities in Ardara, as the wee town has a number of pubs, cafes and shops all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Ardara - we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed everything the area……

“A short break, overall a good time had by all. However while the overall condition of the cottage was good it could have done with a real deep clean. Bedding was obviously used and the mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. Furniture inside also left a lot to be desired from a comfort point of view. No Wi-Fi. TV basic and small. Rooms small. But on the positive this is really well located to local amenities, fully enclosed large back garden was great for the dog.……

“Very dated rooms and especially the bathroom. Poor ventilation. Food was just ok. Very unfriendly, especially for this region of Ireland. Good mattress and nice facade.”

“Depending on how much you pay, this is a good place to stay if looking for somewhere near Donegal Town with parking facility. As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming.”

“Was not clear in the description that the building is actually divided into 3 units. We booked the 3 bedrooms only to realise it's upstairs. And is a big con for a disabled visitor. The flight up is okay but imagine if you can't climb up the stairs! Each bedroom had their tiny individual shower rooms. No hooks for hanging clothes, very tiny space for putting toiletries, or none at all. Had to put on the floor or on the toilet seat. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. Kitchen is new and clean. We……
