“It was just extremely dated it looked like the Flintstones designed and decorated it. The pool could be nicer and better tbh, however the view was incredible!! I also believe they can have a nicer and indoor breakfast area; especially because it rains a lot and it was wet and out in the open. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and thought that the rooms were quaint and cute. The weather, however, was cooler in La Fortuna than expected. Add in the rain and that added to the temperature feeling even colder. Because of that the rooms got pretty cool and without having any sort of heat to turn on, that made our accommodations not as comfortable as we would've liked. ”

“Love the property. We stayed in building 6 (one of the 3 with a private hot tub on the patio). Had a small kitchen with dishes, a hot plate, and mini fridge. Most excursions will NOT pick up from this property, as it is out of the way. We had a rental car, so everything worked out. Driving to this location is not for the faint of heart. However, it is beautiful and private. Just what we were looking for. There is a small outdoor restaurant on sight. Service was a little slow and seemed focused……

“We loved it here! Wonderful pool for the kids, tasty breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and loved seeing the volcano in the afternoon once the clouds cleared a bit. The front desk guy even brought me over to see a mama sloth with her baby that was spotted on the grounds. Loved! Would definitely recommend!”
