“We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu……

“Host was amazing. We had car trouble on the way and he helped us translate with the roadside assistance gentleman and made sure we were taken care of once we did finally get to the house at midnight. Ugh Excellent communication and extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!”

“Great place to stay if you’re staying in Arenal area. Great views. Limited privacy in front 2 bedrooms. Driveway is a little tight and slippery when wet but it’s nice to be able to get the car out of the street.”

“I can't imagine a better-equipped cabin! There's a full kitchen and dining area, a giant bathroom with great hot water, and two beds with their own TVs (it's like a having your own two-bedroom apartment!) The owner, Heylin, was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived. The internet was super fast. We saw monkeys in the trees behind the A-frame as we sat out on the balcony and we also enjoyed a lovely thunderstorm. This is an amazing gem in the area. Definitely worth the stay if you're in……

“Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. The property was well maintained and very safe. It had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels for showers and poolside. Plenty of room for gathering inside and out. The pool and hot tub was a welcomed addition. Private balconies for each bedroom. It was absolutely amazing!”
