"Termas are what I like to call a little bit of paradise! The pools at the hotel are so relaxing and clean. It really is a place where we should go at least every other month. It is a bit pricey and wish the prices would be lower to actually be able to go more often."

Everything about the stay was perfect. The facility looked brand new, and the staff were exceptionally helpful, often going above and beyond their responsibilities. The location is extremely convenient, taking less than 8 minutes to reach the airport at any time of day.
Please note that there is no direct access to the hotel from the highway, which made my first arrival a bit confusing. However, once familiarized with the area, getting to the property is very easy. For future guests, I...

We stayed here one night on our way home from the Galapagos Islands. It was a short 10-minute taxi ride ($10) from the airport. This is a secure (locked gate) B&B set on about 1 acre of lovely gardens. We arrived there tired and hungry, she prepared us a simple but decent dinner for $9/pp, an early breakfast at 5:45 am and a ride to the airport at 6am for our early flight home. She was very accommodating - just what we needed at a good price.

It is a family run business including taxi pick up and drop off at the airport which is very nice and comforting.
As I entered the premises I was truly impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the establishment. My room was clean and comfortable as well. Very nice place to stay near the airport. If I travel through Quito again that is definitely my place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for clean, comfortable and inexpensive place while passing through Quito....

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

We had to evacuate Quito emergently during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Unable to get a flight that night, we purchased nights at the Hotel Alpachaca for $20 / night / room. Turning onto the dirt road, we were nervous. Happily, the hotel was well built, clean, and staffed by friendly people. The next morning they served us a breakfast of bread and cheese sandwiches, cooked-to-order eggs, and tea or instant coffee. We tried to pay the $2.50 per person breakfast charge, and they refused to...

I had the pleasure of staying for two nights. I had a number of medical issues as related to my diet. Every request was made with a smile. When I left I had to be at airport at 4am.
No problem... They made a special breakfast to order. The whole grounds are immaculate.
The main 'casa' is loaded with amazing artwork. Paintings sculptures etc. You literally can spend an hour looking thru one of their sitting areas and then look again and realize you missed a dozen objects. I can't figure out how...

This hotel is an old hacienda from 1910 with a cool nature trail. There is a great breakfast provided in lovely dining room with a fire place. The land scape is nicely maintained with pretty flowers and birds all around.
We even were feeding llamas with carrots. It is all plesantly surprising finding for the hotel within 15 min from the airport.
The advice: take the transportation arranged by the hotel for a reasonable fee. They will even meet you in the airport. Do not be put off by the...

excellent option for overnight near the airport. The hotel arranged pick-up (for a charge) and drop off; quick check-in, a comfortable quiet bed for the night, am breakfast. The buildings are inside a walled compound, with plenty of space plus protection from neighborhood noise, and a sense of security. Staff were helpful.

We were so impressed with this Hacienda and Staff! What a perfect introduction to Ecuador! Erica greeted us as we drove up the leaf arched, cobble stone lane. She gave us a tour of the Hacienda, and saw to our every need! The grounds are immaculately groomed with flowers, vines, trees and roses. The Owner took some time to share some history of the Hacienda with us. Our room was clean, spacious and decorated to maintain the original flavor of this place. The food served in the main dining room...
