"Staff was very helpful. I arrived earlier than expected. They stored my luggage and even offered a place to clean up before I headed out to explore. They provided a couple of options for breakfast, at a time of my chosing. Rooftop terrace is very nice. Minibar with excellent prices(beer, water, soda). Neighboring buildings look under construction, but that is typical Havana."

"The property is comfortable,clean and convenient. The room has excellent ocean view, comfy mattress, a big closet, refrigerator and hot water in the bathroom. "On the first day of my vacation,i was shocked not to have hot water in my bathroom. Luckily the problem was taken care quickly and no other issues. The lady of the house was incredible,she made me feel so important. The gentleman who was the night watchman was a sweet,friendly older man. This was my first time staying at this house but i plan to stay there in my future trips to havana."

"Property was Clean, AC worked great, it's Cuba so it is what I expected. Americans don't have many options, but this place was good! Walking distance to all sites in Old Havana. Prop mngr Mayte was nice to deal with, I wish she knew a bit more English. No WiFi, no bottled water to buy were the only cons for me. As a NYer I was resourceful, walking to the other nice hotels and using their services for taxi's etc.. =)"

"It was absolutely fantastic. Lourdes was an excellent host. Everything was bang on. Great base to explore. 10 minutes walk to the seafront. 5 minutes to a shop. Market opposite. Interesting restaurant/gallery/bar around the corner. I managed to catch some live bands and a photography exhibition. Property and garden was glorious and secure (gated). Breakfast was filling and delicious (Lourdes was happy to be flexible on times). BOOK! Great experience and will book again on my return to Cuba!...
