“Very quaint in my opinion, almost a bed and breakfast feel. Room was very clean, had a workable desk for my laptop. The Steak & Ale restaurant was very good, I sat at the bar and got a really good burger. It was very busy there when I got there on Friday, seemed like a lot of people at the bar where regulars but they were talkative and friendly. The only "complaint" I would give is that there is an event room or bar to the left of the check-in desk. It was pretty loud with music, however; it……

“Super clean, modern, and comfy. Host communicated warmly and timely. Bathroom had everything we needed and not the super cheesy stuff 👌Kitchenette was great too. The only thing I would complain about was that it’s sits on a busier street. Not crazy busy, but if you don’t like the sounds of cars driving by, it can be annoying. I travel with ear muffs and they were needed. But did not hear any other guests which was great!”

The chairs in the seating area were a bit uncomfortable, saggy, so one night we watched the small tv in bed. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and the whole room was very clean. The mini fridge had a freezer which was appreciated for our freezer packs. “The decor of the Black Swan Inn, in our room and throughout was absolutely gorgeous. Everything whose beauty is enhanced by sparkle or shine did just that. Breakfast was delicious, prepared and served up by solicitous staff. The owner greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcomed. It was a great stay in a historic Inn. Anyone heading to Tilton and Lakes region should book there.”
