“The property felt tired and dated. The carpets were stained, as were the curtains. Everything felt a bit grubby. The sofa bed had pillows and duvets provided in a cupboard but we had to go to reception to collect the covers and sheets to make up ourselves. On the plus side, the accommodation was very spacious, the bathrooms were clean (although no bath mats were provided) and the grounds are absolutely stunning.”

“The restaurant was nicely decorated and the Indian cuisine was unique and excellent quality. My lamb was the most tender I have ever had. Staff were attentive and service superb. I am diabetic on insulin and on a lot of medication for various health issues so all meals are impotant, we paid extra for breakfast both mornings,, we were never informed of time for breakfast and for all the things I have to do in the mornings we didn’t get down until 10am only to be told he stopped serving at 9:30……

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”
