Bedroom (45) was poorly situated above the kitchen extractor and, whilst spotlessly clean, had a intercommunicating door which offered little noise insulation. “We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again.”
