“On arrival we were warmly greeted and informed where breakfast would be served and explained where our room was. The room was huge in size, light, airy and tastefully decorated. The en-suite was a good size and cleaned to a high standard as was the room. Breakfasts were amazing, VERY generous portions and well cooked. “The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside and a well maintained golf course. Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money. The food at the Cairns restaurant for dinner was nice but the service was a bit disjointed. There was a lot of staff but still took a while……

“There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. ”

“Location is convenient for the most part. Parking is a bit deceptive as you need to part almost a block away. Tried to "What App" the host as suggested but got no reply. Small apartment with no fans (very hot) to use and had no air conditioning.”

“Very pleased with property. Centrally located. Only negative was extremely heavy doors that did not stay open and banged shut quite forcefully. I have a young son and we were constantly anxious of fingers getting caught. Otherwise an excellent stay”
