“The room was warm, spacious, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom didn’t have a bath, which my wife was disappointed about. But we enjoyed the shower. There was plenty of pressure and hot water was in abundance. A few cobwebs around the room, but could only see them in low light, the bathroom sink drained very slowly and there was no toilet brush. “What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

“Set in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks on your doorstep and two local dog friendly pubs that serve food. The owners are lovely and helpful in person and replied to our messages very quickly before we came. The accommodation is very clean and really cosy, dog friendly being a plus. Will definitely visit again this summer.”

“My room was excellent, very clean, warm, extremely comfortable bed. Full coffee/tea facilities including extra if required. The bathroom was excellent with plenty of clean towels, flannels, shampoos etc. The breakfast choices covered vegetarian aswell as the full English cooked.
