“I expected more from a Hilton, especially as it was listed as a 4-star hotel. The room itself was fine, updated and clean, but service was terrible. The hotel was fully booked and horribly understaffed. Several requests went unanswered (housekeeping services, a request for hypoallergenic bedding due to a down allergy, a broken lamp in the room, not enough luggage carts, food and drink service was horrible, and pool was murky with no towels available). Nothing earth-shattering, but not Hilton……

“Came all the way from Virginia to Charlotte to only be told that my room was canceled, I never received any notification from the property and it showed that it was still booked on Expedia. I called the hotel and they stated that I was supposed to get a text for an authorization form for my card to be charged even though I never received one and that they had gave my room away so me and my friends were stranded with no lodging as this was the weekend for a huge concert and everything was booked.……

“We stayed at Landing for 4 nights. It was our 1st time booking an apt. instead of a hotel room. We wanted more space for our 60-lb dog. The apt was clean, neat & cozy. The area was quiet. Customer service was great. I would recommend Landing for the reasons above. We drove from NY to NC (12-hr drive). On Sunday morning (day #2), we found a boot on our car & had to pay two hundred to get it removed. A few cars had boots on them as well. I believe the area is owned by Landing. I don't think the……

“The apartment was so nice and clean. It was a little confusing on how to get to the unit but the host was very respectful and helpful via call/text message throughout the entire stay. I will definitely be looking for more Landing properties to stay at. ”
