“This is the second stay at The Grand. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We were bed and breakfast , the bed was very comfortable, the room was a decent size and the breakfast was very good. Although the room was clean the main window needs attention as putty is missing which makes it drafty and also it needs painting. The flat roof outside is an eyesore.
We found the wifi poor and the size of the tv too small for the size of the room.

“Breakfast would improve greatly if the croissants were cooked fresh. Stayed 2x and that is how I rate a property for their breakfast. Also Americano or streaky bacon would be very nice but the fresh orange juice is a nice touch”

“Great hotel. Beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the sea! Plus the hotel is situated right in the middle of Torquay — very good especially if you have plans to explore.

“Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...
