“Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and sauna”

“A really lovely hotel ideally situated. Great rooms, very comfy beds. Breakfast was amazing so much choice. Johnathan and Karen were great hosts, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Most definitely stay there again.”

“The room was cosy, nicely decorated, a good size, and with a large and comfortable bed; it would have cost two or three times as much in a hotel - and that's without the generous and tasty cooked breakfast (there are other options on the menu) which - like the excellent WiFi - is included. The shower was a good size, but (and this is my only reservation, which I'm sure will be addressed) had poor water pressure. Parking space is for 2, maybe 3 cars (depending how the others park!), but free……

“The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

“Amazing accommodation ideal for a couple , very comfortable, lovely quiet location but not far to drive to Sherborne. All kitchen essentials provided . Lovely comfy bed. Bathroom/shower perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.”
