“We enjoyed our stay at Kahanda Kanda. It is a small resort and on arrival were shown to our room, the Garden room which was nice on first impression. However we woke to find ants all over our bed which was not acceptable. Housekeeping promptly changed the bedding but within half an hour they were back so we were moved for our second night to the Mango room. There was no comparison between the two rooms as the first had been dark with no view and the second was lighter with a veranda overlooking……

“We booked three superior rooms and it was a great experience. Although at the beginning, the hotel didn't have enough room for us. The manager tried his best and solved the problem though. Loved the view of swimming pool and the ocean. The only disadvantage is that you have to take a tuktuk to go to the beach, about 150rs one way. The hotel has shuttle bus too(9:30-10:30 and 17:30-18:30). And meal serving is a bit slow.”

“Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. Im Zimmer ist ein modriger Geruch wahrzunehmen der ohne einschalten……

Surely, security is strict to bring your safe feelings. When you hear the sea waves hitting the rocks, you feel peaceful and consider this hotel is definitely a home you should stay longer.”
