“What a lovely home, thoughtfully decorated and fantastic location! We found the communication with the owners was super great, check in and check out were seamless. The fireplace on the outside porch was a very nice treat! The home has everything you need from lush bath towels, ample cookware, etc. the downstairs was a great play room for kids, with an air hockey table. We will definitely be back as we enjoy the wine and brewery area this home is so close to. ”

House was very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, beds were very comfortable, kitchen well supplied - everything you need to cook a nice meal (grill needs replacing though). “This house is lovely, well stocked and comfortable. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The drive from the Richmond airport was super easy until about the last two twisty miles; if you are arriving after dark, study the map so you know what to expect. I loved that it was so close to Shenandoah National Park. We ate at the Blue Ridge Cafe in Ruskerville (recommend) then entered at the Swift Run entrance then drove south and came out just a couple miles from the house. Heads up to……

“Our stay at the Afton Clubhouse was absolutely wonderful and would recommend this property to anyone! Jamie and her BSG Team were awesome hosts, providing the door code shortly before check-in. The clubhouse itself was amazing! Very well designed and thought-out with everything you'd want for a short or long-term stay. As someone who loves to cook, the kitchen was very well stocked.
