Aldeia das Acoteias Vacations from $811

Stayed here in August with my husband and 6 year old for 12 nights. The rooms are modern, clean and beds very comfortable. The pool was the highlight, it's huge, with 2 smaller kids pools. Plenty of sun loungers and nice fresh towels every day - so no need to bring any. The breakfast was fantastic! We paid for the buffet one evening which was very expensive and I wasn't impressed with the food at all. The Italian restaurant was nice but overpriced. The hotel is located next to the beach which is great but we discovered all of the sun loungers had reserved signs on them so we couldn't stay long with no shade. There really isn't much around the hotel at all, we ended up paying quite a bit to go into albuferia in the evenings. Overall we loved the hotel itself but wouldn't go back due to the location and very overpriced food and drinks.

Ok I know this is a 3 star hotel but the beds and pillows are the worse I have ever experienced at any hotel. Hard bed and the thinnest pillows ever. We upgraded to “all inclusive” but only breakfast was included at this hotel. Even though they have a snack bar with drinks and snacks available, we were told we’d have to pay or take a shuttle to one of there 4 other hotels in the area to eat or drink. Ridiculous policy. The staff were all great and the property is well maintained however everything is very old and in need of renovations.

Amazing resort with generously-sized rooms/terraces, great facilities and beautiful views of algarve. A couple of restaurants/cafés to choose from, including a fine-dining option.

Amazing hotel with all amenities that are needed. Plenty of sunbed availability. Staff go out of their way to help you. Carvoeiro town is a 10 minute walk.

Safe and very family friendly . Some staff will go out of there way to help you.
