However the hotel is lovely with a large sitting patio area at the front with a great view over Cork. "The staff, hotel and amenities were fabulous. One very important thing I need to make traveler’s aware of if driving yourself and not part of a tour. Ignore the sat nav directions it tells you to take lovers walk to the hotel do not do it what a nightmare. This road is only made for one car not two. Unfortunately we had the full experience of two cars coming either direction on this road what a nightmare. Even if you are the greatest driver this is going to be a nightmare. If the car comes out in one piece without any damage you will be very lucky. I asked the staff about this road and they all knew it was a nightmare not sure why the sat nav selects this route. There is another route you can take I believe it is Summerhill way better than the other route. Besides that nightmare road the hotel is fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay."
