“The rooms in this property is so out of date idk how they received a 3.9 star rating. The 1st room they gave me had mold in the ceiling and walls. The 2nd room ended up having roaches my 2nd day. I had to leave mid way thru my trip and get a different hotel. Only highlights are the air conditioning is really good, the bed was comfy, and the pool was clean. The restaurant on the property was really good and the waitress/ bartender girl was really nice and friendly. Other then that you pretty much……

“Overall a little underwhelmed with the property. The decor/style is cute - but it feels run down. The bathrooms are a dark cement cave- terrible lighting and very small mirrors. It wasn’t terrible- but I wouldn’t stay here again. We did enjoy the hammocks and outdoor seating. ”

“The apartment is in a great location. It’s the best part of the rental. The manager was wonderful and responsive , and accommodating when we needed it. The place could benefit from some updating , the pictures look better than the actual state of the furnishing. One of the bathroom does not have a shower curtain which is not super easy to shower ( you have to either be careful or sit in the bathtub) plus if you are tall you will touch the ceiling ( my son is 6’2 he had to do some bending). “We traveled as 4 adults - and stayed 2 weeks. Accommodations were as advertised. Manager and Staff - went way above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. (Including supplying us with fresh coconuts right off the tree in front of our unit. Keep in mind this is NOT a hotel... these are VRBOs so the expectation is that you can figure stuff out and do not have to be waited on. While we were there we did witness a party who did not seem to understand this and expected to be waited on, and to be……

“Our stay at the Dock House was definitely more GLAMPing than camping. We had a great breeze which allowed for us to sleep with the windows open and no mosquito net needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have experienced in Belize. (We have been traveling to Belize for years and typically stay in places under $200/night). We had breakfast both mornings and really enjoyed it! Very peaceful 2 days up north. 10/10 recommend!”
