Top Anstruther Golf Club Hotel Reviews
Creel Cottage- stylish cottage near the sea
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was inviting and presented well.vThe house had everything we needed and we found it very comfortable and suited us to be local to the town the only thing lacking was a good coffee machine. We also enjoyed the locality to interesting places at Cellardyke and Pittaweem. It will be on out list of places to return."
The Waterfront
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely stay in family room - good sized bunk beds with own TVs. Amazing breakfast with huge range of choices. Lovely evening meal in restaurant"
The Bank
8/10 Good
"The staff were amazing, room was clean and cosy, food was fabulous. My only problem was the noise. The room was on the main street and you could hear the live band playing till 12. Ear plugs could be requested but they should be left in the room if the hotel know the location is noisy. Would have been a 5 star stay otherwise."
The Spindrift Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience. The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent. The room is spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom is small and the height of the bath may be a bit tricky for some. No baths are allowed and I found the water temperature on the tepid side when I showered before 6am. The breakfast was a standout (especially the local black pudding if you are into that, and you should be!) There was local granola, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and a full array of hot breakfast items. The hosts interacted well with all guests and had loads of local knowledge (try the Dory Bistro if you like superb seafood). The hosts went out of their way to let us have our breakfast a tad early as we needed to be on our way first thing. Altogether a very well priced stay."
Ground Floor garden apartment only a few steps from the shore.
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was well located, well equipped and thoughtfully furnished. Our host was very responsive. We especially appreciated the visitor information supplied before our visit, and available in the unit, to help with planning. The only thing that might have made our stay more convenient is information about appliances. UK appliances and household systems are different to those in North America, and some of the knowledge gaps caused extra work for our host-which, I should add, she handled graciously and gracefully.Makes total sense that this is a premier hosted property!"
Smugglers' Gait | Anstruther

MAY COTTAGE | Holiday Accommodation Anstruther
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and tidy, location good short walk to harbour with easy access to coastal path"
Academy Apartment Anstruther- stunning luxury home
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful seaside apartment in a former school academy for crafts, art, and workshops. Spacious, open, with lots of natural light throughout; the setting is calming, restful, and very welcoming. All of the accommodations and amenities made it feel like home away from home. There is a large tub in the third bathroom that was very helpful for soaking tired bones and blistered feet from several days of golfing. Lots of walkable picture-perfect shops and a great organic farm called Ardross just down the road in Elie that is something not to be missed on your trip if you're making meals at home.We just loved the environment, the heritage and culture surrounding the academy. And we are already planning a trip back next year. Thank you!!! Note: The address is not South Waid, but it IS a critical name because it is the name of the driveway leading to the Academy apartments on Farm Road."
