“we were staying in town to visit barboursville so it’s a quick distance from there. the hotel is less than a minute drive from a few food options so that’s convenient. it’s an interesting location not much around but the hotel itself was clean and beautiful it’s the good quality i can expect from a marriott. the only catch is please make sure you are calling them and confirming their policy i called ahead to confirm i would be able to book and stay as a 20 year old turning 21 soon and they said……

“There was a problem in my room with the TV not working, and the front desk person really went out of her way to help with the problem. She ultimately decided that the best solution would be to just put me in a different room (and in the process, actually upgraded me to a much larger room!). She didn't have to do that, but it was greatly appreciated. And she even helped me move all of my belongings! Breakfast was the average hotel fare, but food was fresh and coffee was good. Room was very clean.……

Nice large screen TV that my family and I used to see a couple movies and for me to watch NFL playoffs. Although not used since it was winter time, we would have used the firepit and grill! Easy to get inside and felt secure using the provided access code. Good communication from the host. Loved the bear wood carving! Very well priced too. Recommended.”

“It was an end of the summer trip for the two of us a last-minute getaway. We normally camp in our tent, but with the weather being so unpredictable, we decided to rent a cabin this time, and it gave us the benefit of both worlds a little bit of rustic and a little bit of home away from home.
