"Excellent old style hotel lots of wood and thick carpets and plenty of room. Very clean and well maintained. Superb views, excellent bar and dining and a very professional and friendly staff. Also a free phone for a taxi service that generally arrived within 5 minutes and was very well priced. Everything was absolutely spot on and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Rothesay."

"We loved the location and that it was on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They have parking on premises which was a huge factor for my selection. It is only about a 15 minute ride from downtown Inverraray. The food at their restaurant was excellent as well. The room rate also included breakfast. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The only issue I had was the door to our room was a little difficult to open at first but the fellow at the front desk came over to help me out and we were good after that."
