“The room and facilities are old looking and small. Especially for the bathroom. But the beds are clean and tidy and provide car parking. ”

“The rooms were lovely and the staff was fabulous, the valets especially went out of their way to help us. We adored the family room with the bunk beds, such a great idea for families traveling with young children so we could all be together but have designated space for everyone to sleep. We also loved the pool and waterside, kids couldn't get enough! We highly recommend this hotel while visiting Loch Lomond!”

“Luckily our stay was during the good weather, the pool and sauna was good but, think it could have been quite bleak if it had been rainy. Our room looked tired and the 2 seater couch was very grubby and the cushions were sunken. The restaurant looked like a staff canteen with all the formica tables and the food was very disappointing, no Michelin chef here! The food was cold and bland, breakfast was not cooked to order, that was also cold. I ordered porridge one morning , the waitress assured……

“I was part of a group of 5 with DB reservations. 3 arrived in advance and told us not to come. I tried to get out if this reservation in advance Inc calling from a flight. They were adamant that no refunds would be given. The advanced party were correct. The room had not been cleaned, it had mold in the bathroom, used toilet tissue left on the floor, at least 5 spiders crawling around. All of this I have on video. Horrendous does describe it. “The staff were extremely slow when in the dining room. It took ages for them to serve drinks and meals. A wait of 45 minutes was normal and between courses. We stayed at Brander Lodge many years ago and sadly it’s not a patch on the standard and friendliness of the staff. Won’t be going back to this hotel. Wife was in the shower when water stopped flowing due demand of other bedrooms using showers for ten minutes.”

“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
