"The Alda Hotel is situated in the heart of old Reykjavic and many sites are within easy walking distance. It is also close to a pick up point used by tour companies. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only negative (and its a minor point) was that I found the lighting in the room too dark. would happily stay there again"

"Beautiful room in a stylish hotel with all the amenities you could need. Bar area was nicely designed and cocktails good! Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was included and considering how expensive Reykjavík is, was really good value. A decent choice of hot and cold food, juices and great pastries. Location is excellent, easily walkable to all the main shopping streets and harbour. Pretty lake on our doorstep and two bus stops for airports transfers and day trips within 1min walk. Would 100% recommend and stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Every staff I met was so kind. And there were cats all guests loved. Spacious lobby and clean room, nice bars! I can highly recommend the hotel. (There is no parking garage! You have to park your car on the street)"

"Nice hotel and great location - bus stop 9 was literally outside the building. It's a stop on many of the tours and so super convenient. Staff also very helpful and friendly."
