Check-in was good for an overnight stay, friendly attendant. We were placed in a room that had previous issues with a motel guest that complicated our stay, which caused us to feel very uncomfortable! One good thing was the location!

Not too bad for the price

We reserved on here. Check-in was quick and easy. The parking lot is small. For the price, the room was ok. Toiletries were a nice touch for the room, but the soap fell apart when I opened the package and the toilet paper ran out. The room may be outdated, but again for the price it was a quick go to for some sleep.

Convince of location and price of room for area. Also convince of transportation for area.jitney runs all year and tram runs on boardwalk during summer. Just park your car and ride to other locations in the city. There are not many amenities. This is a beach inn at a good price! This is my go to place as I usually only sleep there. I spend most of my time out and about! Thanks Down Beach Inn! See you in the near future!

Groups of obvious drug users and dealers stood rite in front of my room door. The window in the bathroom was broke and taped shut with weak scotch tape. The buttont to open the microwave door was gone. No chain on the door just the knobs that was supposed to hold the chain. Blood on the towel. A complete waist of money because I booked a different room at a different location. Went to check out next day, was waiting outside the office lobby for 30 min in the cold because the only staff member there was asleep in a back room in the office. This place shouldn't be open for business until it is invested in properly.

First night there was a crack addict and his girlfriend fighting all night through 4 AM. Asked to move rooms and next night a homeless camped outside our window blasting music smoking weed. There were drug deals in the parking lot all weekend, sketchy people everywhere. Had my shoes stolen at the beach near the hotel. Bed had cigerette burns, water stank, toilet ran, TV was small and limited...but worked. Literally the worst hotel on the worst city in America.

The man at the front desk was kind and gave us new sheets when we found stains on ours upon arrival. The window was broken open and there was a small faded red splatter on the ceiling. The mattress also had a huge burn hole in it as well as various intense stains. One of the lights was broken. Walking to and from my room was awful, as there were creepy men making comments at us when we walked by on the stairwell. The only reason some of my review is good is because the man at the front desk was very kind, but this is not a sanitary building in the slightest.
