"This is our second visit because we enjoyed it so much last year. Varangeville is a beautiful village and the property is set in a wonderful garden and is very private. The area is great for cycling, especially the Route de lin which is a dedicated walking and cycling route. The house is immaculately clean and well equipped and the garden is a joy to spend time in. "I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité et l'accueil de la propriétaire et du personnel . La maison offre toutes les commodités, possède un beau terrain ( très important pour les enfants) et est située sur la falaise mais à proximité du centre de la station. Location à recommander."

"Very French, lovely setting and full of 'antique' toys and charm. A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."
